Common questions

How do I start?

Create a project and choose portrait, landscape or square. Capture or import at least two photos, arrange the sequence, then choose Video or GIF and export.

What makes the objects move or a person float?

You stage each photograph. Move objects between shots, or photograph a person near the top of repeated jumps. FrameFlow plays the stills in order; it does not generate images, interpolate motion or remove backgrounds.

Why does interval capture stop?

The app must remain open and active. Capture stops when it goes into the background. Select one of the available intervals and keep the device steady.

Why is the camera unavailable?

Allow Camera permission in device settings, check that a camera is available and close any other app using it. Focus, exposure and white-balance locking depend on supported hardware. You can also import photos.

Why are imported photos cropped or smaller?

FrameFlow normalizes imports to JPEG at up to 2048 pixels on the long side, and center-crops images to fill the project format. Original imported files are not overwritten.

What can I export?

Silent H.264 MP4 at 720p or 1080p; or looping GIF with 320, 480 or 720 pixels on the long side. Choose 6, 12, 18, 24 or 30 fps. GIF has limited colors, no sound and may be larger than a video.

Where can I save the result?

Use Save file or Share. iPhone and iPad also offer Save to Photos, which requests permission to add an item. If permission is denied, use Files or manage the permission in Settings.

Can I recover a frame or restart a take?

The editor supports restoring a removed frame. Restart requires confirmation and keeps the previous take available while the new take is empty. This is not a complete backup or revision history; keep important exports separately.

Where are projects stored?

Projects, normalized frame copies and settings are local. Exports are stored separately from projects. Cloud project sync is not implemented. Delete a project through the app to remove its project folder; exported copies in other locations remain separate.

When will FrameFlow be available?

The app is in development. Availability, final name, pricing and the App Store link will be announced after confirmation. This site does not imply that a store release has happened.
